With our LPG spray dryer with a centrifugal atomizer, hot air enters into the dryer in spiral form due to an air distributor which filters and heats outside air. After passing through a high-speed rotary atomizer on top of the laboratory dryer, the liquid raw material will be sprayed into extremely fine beads of mist. In the very short time it has contact with hot air, the liquid is dried into a final solid powder. The final products are continuously discharged from the bottom of the spray drying equipment and from a cyclone separator. Excess hot air is discharged from an exhaust fan.
Features of the LPG Spray Dryer
1. High speed drying. After the liquid raw material is sprayed, a high drying efficiency evaporates 95%-98% of the material in a few seconds. Because the drying time is short, the LPG spray dryer works well for heat sensitive raw material.
2. The final product from the powder dryer has very good uniformity, solubility, fluidity and purity.
3. The production procedures are simple and the operation and control of the chemical equipment are easy. Liquid with moisture content ranging from 40-60% (for some special materials, the moisture content can be as high as 90%) can be dried into powder at once without grinding or sieving after spray drying. This simplifies the operation procedures and improves product purity. Final product size, bulk density, and moisture content are adjustable within specific ranges.
